WOP support to the Water Supply and Sewerage Authority of Ulaanbaatar city Mongolia
VEI is selected in a competitive tender to develop and organize a Water Operators Partnership (WOP) between USUG as a mentee and an experienced water utility as mentor. USUG is the Water Supply and Sewerage Authority of Ulaanbaatar city, the capital of Mongolia. MCA-Mongolia is the initiator and funding agency of this WOP.
The WOP aims at strengthening critical operational capacities of USUG that were identified through the implementation of AquaRating, an international assessment and benchmarking tool for utility operations developed by the International Water Association.
The WOP is planned for the years 2023 – 2025. The first half year of 2023 will be used to design and operationalize the WOP.
